You read it right! Tattoos during the wedding ceremony! You may have seen one of the newest trends of having a tattoo artist join you at your wedding reception to give the bride and groom (and guests too if they want!) new tattoos to celebrate their big day. The Ways put their own spin on this trend and surprised all their friends and family by getting matching tattoos with each other during their ceremony!! They decided on getting the year they started dating tattooed on their wrists and it couldn’t have turned out more perfect. The bride and groom both have a love for tattoos so they thought, why not??
Speaking of the bride and groom, let’s talk about these 2 cuties! Their love story started all the way back in 2014, when they met as 2 middle school kids, and you could say the rest is history. Riley and Demi dated all through high school and college, and decided to tie the knot with a big wedding and all their family and friends around them! This absolutely STUNNING fall wedding was really something out of a Pinterest board dream! From the vintage rugs that lined the aisle, the neutral, earthy color palette, and everything in between, it was nothing less than perfection! At their reception, they ate all the pizza, churros and cinnamon roll cake they could handle, shot-gunned coors light, toasted all the champagne and danced the night away with all their favorite people! Seeing all the love that surrounded this couple was truly nothing short of amazing.
In the end, it’s YOUR BIG DAY! Do what makes you and your love happy and that’s all that matters. There’s no need to try and fit yourself into the ‘traditional’ wedding mold if that’s not who you are or what you want!
Take my advice, get the tattoos, eat the pizza, and have a churro (or 2), YOU are the star of the show!
