Cheers to ’23 grads – ’24 grads, it’s your turn

First, CONGRATULATIONS!! I’m so proud of each of my 2023 grads.  Being able to capture these amazing humans at such a unique point in their lives is something that I truly never take for granted. 

You might be thinking, “omg I’m a junior, senior year is just around the corner, where the heck am I supposed to start with my senior photos?” Step 1: jump on my website (if you’re reading this, you’re already here haha) and fill out an inquiry form! Simple as that! 

When it comes to senior portraits, I have a few tips in making your photos feel like you:

1. Wear clothes that make you feel happy, and most importantly comfortable.  You want to be comfortable and confident in the clothes that you are wearing during your session!  Find something that makes you feel super cute, it will instantly show in your face if you love your fit!

2. Grab the sunnies, or your fav accessory:  Just like accessories add to your everyday outfits, they add so much interest when it comes to your session!  Whether it’s your favorite set of sunnies, an interesting pair of shoes, or the bag of your dreams 

3. Showcase your hobbies:  What you do outside of your academic achievements is just as important to capture!  Showcasing your hobbies during your senior session is a great way to make it all about you, and what you love.  Whether you run track, play the guitar, or swing a golf club, let’s find the perfect way to incorporate it into your session!

4. Make it special:  When I’m getting ready for any photoshoot, I like to make it feel REALLY special! I’ll do a face mask, take my time doing my glam and getting ready (think music, snacks, fav drink, all the good things) and if i can, i’ll get a new outfit because who doesn’t love a new outfit?? Making it special will make you excited for your session instead of scared! And we want all the happy vibes!
