The 2023 Fall wedding season is coming to a close and the trends I’ve seen this season are just too good to not talk about! And I have a feeling we’re going to be seeing a lot of these in moving into 2024 as well! Here are my top 5 favorite wedding trends from fall 2023!
Warm and earth toned color palettes: This might not be a new trend by any means, but it is still one of my all time favorites! Colors like deep burgundy, mustard yellow, terracotta, and sage green, are all reflecting the colors of the season and make everything feel so warm!
Low-key bridal parties: When choosing their bridesmaids and groomsmen, couples are increasingly likely to opt for a “less is more” approach and I love it! I think moving into 2024 we’re going to see smaller and smaller bridal parties
Welcome cocktail hour: What says “Welcome to our big day” like a welcome cocktail hour? Serving signature cocktails or a glass of champagne before asking guests to take their seats for the ceremony is a trend that I’ve seen and LOVED this wedding season. This gives the guests a moment to socialize before sitting to enjoy your ceremony, and get their pre-wedding jitters out 😉
Statement isles: It’s the most important walk you’ll ever take, add your own personal touch to it! I’ve seen isles lined with vintage rugs, isles framed with flowers, unique shaped isles and so much more! This is just another way to add your own personal touches to your day!
Midday ceremony: In the last year I’ve seen lots of couples lean toward an earlier ceremony time. I love this for 2 reasons: 1.an earlier ceremony means more time to celebrate long into the night and 2.you have natural light for much longer!
Let’s talk about the 2 love birds, Gunnar and Lexi! These two are the absolute SWEETEST couple ever! They met for the first time in 2016 when they both were attending WSU, on Dad’s weekend, at the bar. They dated for 2 months and mutually broke things off when Gunnar left for the fire academy. 4 years later in April of 2020, they met up again to go for a walk on high drive in Spokane and the rest is history! Their day was timeless and full of emotion and there was no denying the love that these 2 share. Cheers to the Seefeld’s!
