One for The Photogs – My Amazon Must Haves

Every photographer has their must have items.  From shoes to equipment, every little detail matters especially when you’re a one woman show like me (and most of us).  

Let’s start with clothing!  Whether you’re out on a shoot for a family or senior or shooting an all day wedding, you want to be comfortable but still professional.  For weddings, all black is always a go to.  You can’t go wrong with a black dress and some cute shoes.  This will almost always guarantee that you won’t be over or underdressed and you will seamlessly blend in with the crowd.

Next up are my go to wedding day shoe.  These are a staple in my wedding day looks.  They are comfy, so cute, and go with everything, what more could you ask for??  They are a little on the spendy side, but they are worth it a million times over, I swear.

Last in the clothes section, I couldn’t do a photog must haves without a little camera necklace!  I feel like it’s basically a job requirement to have a camera shaped something on you at all times!  Here’s my favorite one:

Next up is equipment!  I could put so much here, but we’re going to keep it to the basics.  One thing I feel like I’m always in need of is SD cards!! The least expensive place that I’ve found them is definitely Amazon.  I also found a super good SD card holder that keeps my cards safe, organized, and protected while I’m traveling!

Another piece of equipment that I have come to really love is my ring light tripod that holds my phone!  It has made it so much easier to make reels and tik toks!  Even though I didn’t sign up to be an “influencer”, it’s turned into part of my everyday life (thx instagram) and this little guy has made it so much easier.

Next is something that gives me peace of mind, always.  My Seagate portable hard drive is one of my must have, always and forever, pieces of equipment.  This little guy goes any and everywhere with me.  I never have to worry about losing a client’s photos because I always have them backed up!

Who doesn’t love being creative and trying something new??  If you’re looking to get outside your comfort zone, try fractals!! They are so fun and add such a cool vibe to your photos.  Fractals are something that I have come to really love, and so do my clients!  Plus, there are so many ways that you can use them!  If you’ve been thinking of changing up your style a little, here’s your sign!

At the end of the day, all of my photography must haves are really just there to make my life as a one woman show that much more easy, seamless and most importantly fun!  I want to do my best to share all the good things that I find with all of you!!
