Mr. & Mrs. Belk: Making Your Wedding Uniquely YOU

Each and every relationship has certain details that make them unique and special.  Everyone has their “thing” and your wedding is the perfect place to showcase what makes your relationship different from everyone else!  

I would like to introduce you to Mr. and Mrs. Belk!  Henderson and Sara wanted their wedding to be a mix of romance, playfulness, natural, modern, but overall timeless.  And let me tell you, it was all that and more!  Let’s get into some of the fun details.

The bride and groom met in a very unique way.  Henderson and Sara met on a blind date!  They were set up by a friend in their lives and when they were on the date, they both soon realized that neither of them were super close with the person that had set them up on the date.  But, everything happens for a reason, right?  Besides the couple being so sweet and ridiculously cute together, they planned a BEAUTIFUL wedding with some pretty fun details!

The color palette for the day was very simple, white, greenery, with some soft pink.  They had lots of fresh, white roses, which make it feel so elevated, classic, and timeless on so many levels.  The venue was at a vineyard/winery and it complimented their vision perfectly.  I was obsessed to say the least!  Another super fun and wildly unique thing they did at their wedding was instead of doing a cake cutting they had an ice cream truck!  And not just a normal ice cream truck, they had the Ben and Jerry’s truck!  So, instead of cutting cake, they had the sweetest “first bite” together.  I love when people put a twist on very classic wedding traditions and make them into something that fits their relationship.

At the end of the day, your wedding is about YOU!  Don’t be scared to incorporate those little details into your day.  People love to see what is special to you as a couple and it makes your day that much more unique to you!
